ILO Internship on the care economy

The ILO is working on a report “Care Jobs and the Care Economy”, to be published in March next year. We are searching for an Intern to work with us during the drafting phase. The paid internship will be of a duration of 6 months, starting at the latest on 1
August 2017, with a monthly stipend of CHF 2,200.  The internship will be at the Gender, Equality and Diversity & ILOAID Branch.

Candidate requirements:

-          PhD recent graduate or PhD candidate (in her/his last year), in economics or social sciences

-          Research work on care policies, care jobs or gender and work issues

-          Outstanding writing skills in English, other UN languages preferable

-          Excellent research skills, possibly with a quantitative background
