DOT Hiring Opportunity:
Digital Opportunity Trust (“DOT”) (www.dotrust.org), a leading international social enterprise headquartered in Ottawa, is seeking an enthusiastic, creative individual to fill the important cross-appointed role of Gender
and Research Officer. The Officer will be a member of DOT’s Research and Learning Team, and will work closely with other departments, including teams in DOT’s countries of operations. The Officer will provide technical support, including monitoring and reporting
on gender issues, networking and coordination across teams, project reporting, and knowledge management. Located at DOT's HQ office in Ottawa, the Officer will report to the Director of Research and Learning and work closely with the Senior Monitoring and
Evaluation Officer, and the Gender Technical Lead.
As the successful candidate for this early-career position, you have strong understanding of gender equality frameworks and gender analysis as they relate to international development and a passion for advancing women’s empowerment globally. You have experience
with social science research, and possess excellent critical thinking and English-language writing skills. You are motivated to develop your capacity in international development programming, particularly in the areas of monitoring and evaluation and project
coordination. You are a self-starter who takes initiative and is excited by working in a highly dynamic, collaborative and cross-cultural environment.
