DOT Hiring Opportunity:

Digital Opportunity Trust (“DOT”) (www.dotrust.org), a leading international social enterprise headquartered in Ottawa, is seeking an enthusiastic, creative individual to fill the important cross-appointed role of Gender
and Research Officer. The Officer will be a member of DOT’s Research and Learning Team, and will work closely with other departments, including teams in DOT’s countries of operations. The Officer will provide technical support, including monitoring and reporting
on gender issues, networking and coordination across teams, project reporting, and knowledge management. Located at DOT's HQ office in Ottawa, the Officer will report to the Director of Research and Learning and work closely with the Senior Monitoring and
Evaluation Officer, and the Gender Technical Lead.

CASID Conference 2018 Update

Dear colleagues, We are looking forward to the 2018 CASID conference 'Exploring and Unpacking Diversity in Development’, May 30th - June 1st, 2018 at the University of Regina.Below is some helpful information to finalize your plans.
1.       Program
Please find attached the draft program (room allocations forthcoming). If you note any oversights or problems please let us know by emailing amurr061@uottawa.ca and we’ll do our best to accommodate additions/changes. The final program will be circulated May 15th, 2018. No hard copies of the program will be provided.
2.       Reception
The reception on May 30th is open to all CASID registrants. Complimentary snacks will be provided along with a cash bar. Keynote remarks will be made at 6:30 pm.
3.       Banquet
The banquet on May 31st is open to all CASID registrants as well as friends. There is no set menu and you can order food and/or drinks to be billed individually.

Overview:  We are seeking
two post-doctoral research associates to join two collaborative, interdisciplinary, international projects. Both projects are part of a large initiative, Arequipa Nexus Institute
for Food, Energy, Water, and the Environment (the Nexus Institute) and both positions will involve coordination and collaboration with selected faculty and graduate students at the National University of Saint Augustine (UNSA), our partner institution
in Arequipa, Peru (see the end of this position announcement for more information about the Nexus Institute).
